Description: Cuckoo Clock with 8-day movement / running time (mechanical), with music and dancers. With music and dancer function; Beautiful child figurine. Typical Black Forest Farm house with fitted mill wheel, which turns when the clock strikes. This clock has a very elaborate decoration, with animal figurines - bambi and lambs, and a very nice boy carrying a lamb in his arms. Many trees, a trough; altogether, a very convincing forest scene is displayed on the clock. All figurines and decorative elements are made of wood and are hand-painted. Another eye-catcher is the thatched roof with its fire bell tower. It is fashioned after the real Black Forest farm house roofs, unevenly thatched by hand. The bell tower of Black Forest farms has an alarm function. In the case of a fire - always a very real threat on Black Forest farmsteads - the bell would ring and call the neighbors to help. Most farms houses are isolated buildings, the next house far away..
The clock is completely made of wood, completely handcrafted. Manufactured in the Black Forest, made in Germany.
