Description: Cuckoo Clock with 8-day movement (mechanical). With music function and dancing figurines, and large high quality figurines. This clock has a theme innate to the Black Forest clock industry. The generations old clock seller tradition. Hundreds of years ago, clocks were sold by men travelling on foot around Germany, carrying as many clocks as possible with them on their backs. The clocks had been built during the winter months, during summer when the roads were accessible they were sold all over Germany and neighboring countries. In addition to this, the clock has a very elaborate decoration, with a large animal figurine, very nice well, many trees, benches; altogether, a very convincing forest scene is displayed on the clock. All figurines and decorative elements are made of wood. Another eye-catcher is the beautiful slanted roof, just like a little forest cottage. Made of wood and manufactured in the Black Forest, made in Germany.
